They have been very busy with the Arrowhead Road and Campus Connector Trail projects and the City of Duluth has given us a much anticipated update on both.  This information will help you plan your travels this week.

Many that live in the area of Arrowhead Road and Kenwood Avenue have watched the  water main upgrade project come together and now it is almost done.  However, they still need to pave the street and until then the east bound lane will remain closed.  They are expecting that to happen on Monday and then fully reopen.

The Campus Connector Trail has been worked on for about a month.  This is a new 10 foot multi-purpose non-motorized trail through several neighborhoods and school campuses to connect to the Lakewalk.  This Tuesday and Wednesday they will be closing westbound traffic on College Street between Junction and Kenwood Avenues to install cub and gutter, but will re-open to traffic overnight. The eastbound lane will be open, but you may have to wait while materials are delivered to the work site. They hope to be done with the trail late next month.
