Consider A Rewarding Position, Chum Is Seeking New Board Members
It truly is rewarding to give time and energy to a non-profit in our Community and there are several to choose from. According to their website Chum provides basic needs services for homeless and marginalized members of our community while working to effect changes which will eliminate the need for our services. Can you enhance their efforts?
I sit on the board of the Northern Lights Foundation. I look forward to the camaraderie of the board members, in addition to being able to financially assist families in need due to a child with medical needs. It feels good knowing that I'm able to help others.
CHUM has more than one opening on it's Board of Directors. They are particularly interested in strengthening the Board's capacity in communications, marketing, public relations, fundraising, human resources, early childhood education, and non-profit law, but not necessarily limited to those aspects. If you are interested, please contact Lee Stuart at CHUM at 218-720-6521. Board members serve two-year terms and can serve a total of four consecutive terms.
