Congratulations To Our First Soul2Soul Couple Winners Kathy & Jason!

There is a lot of love in the Northland, as we've received a ton of entries into our Soul2Soul Tim & Faith contest.  People have been submitting their love stories and photos, and we randomly drew our first winner today.  Congratulations to Kathy & Jason.  Here's their story.

This is back in 1990 I was working at a lumber yard here in Hibbing & Jason's father owned a construction company so Jason would make any excuse to stop in to see me. Mind you I had no idea he liked me. So one day he came in to give me a Walt Disney World sweatshirt (it was a very nice one I may add) I accepted it, but at the time I was in a relationship & the next time he came in I gave it back to him because it wasn't right to accept it & lead him on! He understood! So then he called me on a Sunday morning & asked if I wanted to go to a Vikings game (I'm a die hard fan) & again I had to decline!  He, I guess gave up, & got married in 1994! I had moved to Idaho! I came back & got married & then divorced in 2012! So after I little while, my brother had passed away & he was friends on FB with Jason so I thought hmmm I'll friend him! Honestly it was not literally 2 minutes & he friended me! I thought wow he didn't wait! Found he got divorced 2013 . So we just texted for a while then he asked me in a date! Of course I accepted = I asked where we going, he said to Menards (a lumber yard were we first met.) I would say something about myself & he always knew what I did! He never gave up waiting & hoping someday our paths would cross again! He is the love of my life & I am his! We hit it off & just got married in April 2016! Our wedding song was "It's your Love" by Tim & Faith! d I would LOVE to surprise him with tickets to see Tim & Faith! He would die! (Not literally lol) Thank you for reading my love story.
