I was in the grocery store yesterday on my way to the check out when I saw Coke Life.  It caught my eye as it was in a green can.  It said lower calorie Coke.  I thought I would give it a shot as it said it's made with real cane sugar.   It doesn't have any of the high fructose corn syrup crap.

It says it has 35% fewer calories than leading colas.  I would guess they would be right about that, it's 90 calories for a can.  Usually cans of soda are around 140-200 calories, so it is a lower calorie option.

But, I knew there had to be some other sweetner in there, and sure enough, it's made partially with stevia.

So I tried it, and it isn't bad.  It's not as good as a regular classic coke, but it's a lot better tasting than diet coke or coke zero, probably because it at least has some real sugar in it.

It's good enough I'll try it again, and we will see how long it stays on the shelf.  It's been around since 2013 in South American countries, so maybe it does have some staying power.
