The 2017 CMT Music Awards will take place in Nashville on Wednesday night (June 6), and some of country's biggest names have spent the past few days getting ready for their performances during the annual awards show. Blake Shelton, Brett Eldredge, Luke Bryan, Miranda LambertThomas RhettLittle Big Town and Kelsea Ballerini are among those performing during the 2017 CMT Music Awards; additionally, country up-and-comers Brett Young, Jon Pardi, Lauren Alaina, Midland and Chris Lane will all have some time to shine during the ceremony.

The 2017 CMT Music Awards will be home to a number of major collaborations as well: Florida Georgia Line and the Chainsmokers; Keith Urban and Carrie UnderwoodLady Antebellum and Earth, Wind & Fire; Luke Bryan and Jason Derulo; and Brothers Osborne and Peter Frampton will all perform together during the event. Bryan and Derulo previously worked together for an episode of CMT Crossroads, while Lady A and Earth, Wind & Fire will appear together on an upcoming installment of the series. Although CMT has not provided further details, it’s likely that FGL and the Chainsmokers will perform their song “Last Day Alive,” and that Urban and Underwood will sing their single “The Fighter.”

The 2017 CMT Music Awards will also include a tribute to the late Gregg Allman, who died on May 27; taking part in the special performance will be Jason Aldean, Lady A's Charles Kelley, Darius Rucker, Derek Trucks and more. CMT President Brian Philips says that the tribute performance is coming together because, following Allman's death, artists began inquiring about honoring him during the awards show.

The 2017 CMT Music Awards will take place in Nashville on June 7 and air live on CMT beginning at 8PM ET.
