Cloquet’s Braun Park Gets A New Emergency Siren, Will Be Tested Monthly

The City of Cloquet always has public safety in mind (THANK YOU).  They have installed a new emergency siren at Braun Park in Cloquet.  If you live near the area of the park, you should be aware that they will be conducting monthly tests.

According to Braun Park's website, it was constructed in the year 2000 and is the newest addition to the Cloquet Park system.  You'll find 4 youth softball / baseball fields, two junior baseball fields, and two youth T-ball baseball fields there, as well as volleyball, horseshoes, picnic shelter & tables, and a playground.

A new emergency siren has been installed at Braun Park, 1385 Lawrence Road. The first test of this siren will be October 2 at 1p. Other emergency sirens in the Northland are tested on the first Wednesday of each month at 1p.  Braun Park will follow suit with their new siren and it will be tested every month at this time too.
