City Of Superior Announces Free Landfill Days for Oct 20th & 27th

One of the perks of living in Superior is every fall the City offers free landfill days. The annual event encourages people to dispose of their unwanted items in a legal and free way ahead of the changing seasons. This year the free days will take place on two Saturdays in October. The first will be on the 20th, and the second a week later on the 27th.

There are items that they do not take at the landfill that can be found on the city's list. Generally those items include electronics, appliances, hazardous waste, motor oil, demolition materials, etc.

The landfill is open on Saturdays from 8:00-2:30pm. To take part of this you need to provide proof of Superior residency. You also need to cover your load and tie down any items to avoid littering fees.
