City Of Duluth Now In Round THREE Vying For Best Town In America: Keep Voting!
Thank you Northland! Your votes and sharing on social media has kept the City of Duluth in the running to be named “Best Town in America”. The contest, being run by Outside Magazine, started with 64 towns vying for the honors and now we are down to the “sweet sixteen”. Who are we up against this time?
Let’s recap, Duluth was up against Columbia, MO, in first round of the contest’s Midwest part of the bracket and earned 15,512 votes to just 3,463. In round two Duluth took on Athens, OH and won in a landslide of 23,541 to 6,330 vote.
Round three is now open through this Thursday, May 29 at 10:59 and faces La Crosse, WI. Remember, we advance with your vote and those of people you share your social media with, so LET’S ROLL!
It won’t take much time and it’s simple to do! Here’s how:
You may vote once per round for each matchup. The winners will advance until only two towns remain. Then there will be a seven-day showdown to determine Outside’s Best Town 2014. The winner will be the town with the most votes on June 15.
