Chris Young and Cassadee Pope are headed to the Grammys after being nominated in the category of Best Country Duo/Group Performance at the 2017 ceremony. The artists were blown away by the news and are extremely grateful for the recognition.

“I am so honored by this morning’s news,” Young says. “Cassadee and I have had such a great time together with this song at radio and on tour. Having it not only go No. 1 but also be nominated for a Grammy is really incredible!”

Pope echoed his humble thoughts.

“This moment is beyond any I could have ever imagined,” she adds in a press release. “'Think of You' continues to change my life in amazing ways, and I am grateful for everyone who has believed in Chris and me. Thank you to the Recording Academy for this generous nomination!”

This nod is Young's second after his song “Gettin’ You Home” earned a spot in the Best Male Country Vocal Performance category, but Pope’s first ever Grammy thumbs up. “Think of You” appears on Young’s most recent album I’m Comin’ Over and was certified hold by the RIAA. The two artists wrapped Young’s I’m Comin’ Over Tour on Dec. 10.
