If you have any Kraft Singles in your fridge, you're going to want to check to see if they're part of a national recall.

Kraft issued a voluntary recall after discovering a potential choking hazard that involves some of the thin plastic wrapping on the slices of cheese. A release from Kraft says the concern is that there is a possibility that a thin strip of the individual packaging film may remain adhered to the slice after the wrapper has been removed. If the film sticks to the slice and is not removed, it could potentially cause a choking hazard.

The impacted products are 3 lb and 4 lb packages of Kraft Singles American and White American pasteurized cheese with a best when used by date between 29 DEC 15 through 04 JAN 16, followed by the manufacturing code S54 or S55. The smaller, 16-slice packages are not impacted by this recall. See a full list of the impacted codes and dates below.

Recalled product can be returned to the story where it was purchased for an exchange or full refund.
