Celebrate Superior’s International Migratory Bird Day on Saturday

This Saturday, May 14, the city of Superior will celebrate International Migratory Bird Day with a morning full of related fun for all ages.

The day includes the following activities:

  • 8:00 a.m.  Wisconsin Point Birding Hike led by Robbye Johnson, meet at Lot 1
  • 10:00 a.m.  Wildlife Ecology & Management (with an emphasis on birds) with Chris Cold.  He will introduce a live owl & hawk during presentation at the Richard I. Bong Veterans Historical Center Theater, 305 Harborview Parkway.

This annual event helps Superior earn their "bird city" recognition, so enjoy a cool nature day with top shelf experts.
