On Feb. 6th, Ashley Murray of Indiana arrived home with her son to discover a strange man in her apartment. At first, Murray thought she was being robbed. But then, she noticed that the interloper had cooked dinner, folded laundry and swept the floor. Imagine if all trespassers were this helpful!

Groundhog Day was first celebrated on February 2, 1886 in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, but the legend of the groundhog’s prognosticating prowess was first established a year later. A group of devoted followers went to Gobbler’s Knob to spread word that the little rodent had special powers to determine the length of the winter.

Singing in front of an audience at church is a lot less intimidating than subjecting yourself to, say, the judges on ‘American Idol‘. But it still takes guts to stand alone on a stage and belt out a tune, so that’s why we have to commend this enthusiastic fellow who sings ‘Looking For a City’ for his congregation despite having what could be fairly described as a dreadful singing voice.
January 25, 2012 Being a Ravens fan I was heartbroken when Billy Cundiff missed the field goal. I was happy to hear was Ray Lewis, the linebacker and leader of the Ravens defense, said to the media. Something to the effect of, we lose as a team, we win as a team. If we, as a team, had been winning, Billy wouldn't be in that position. No one else could handle that pressure. He should move on, as a man, as a player. Great Lesson for kids and other sports people.
