Paralyzed High School Hockey Player Jack Jablonski Selected By Chicago Steel in USHL Draft

If you follow sports, you surely remember the tragedy that occurred when Minnesota high school hockey player Jack Jablonski was checked during a game in 2011 and suffered and injury that paralyzed him.  Since that day, his story has been an inspiration.  Jack has had a great attitude and has made some hopeful progress.  Due to his inspiration and positive attitude, Chicago Steel has selected him in the first round after Jack made a tongue in cheek tweet.

Two Snowmobilers Dead After Falling Through Ice Near Bayfield, Brings Total To Three This Year

It's been a tragic year for the Bayfield, Wisconsin area this winter.  Less than a month ago professional angler Jim Hudson died after his snowmobile broke through the ice.  Now it has been confirmed that two more men have died near Madeline island after their snowmobile went through the ice Wednesday night.  Also the ice road between Bayfield and Madeline Island has had its share of complications this season.
