Ok, I honestly almost deleted this recipe...sounded to hard, then as I read through the directions I realized it wasn't.  They look darling and imagine the oohs and ahhs you'll get when you fill the candy dish with Taste of Home gumdrops and say "oh those?  I made them"!

What IS figgy pudding?  Well, based on my research, it a pudding containing figs that is most often made during Christmas. It can be cooked a bunch of different ways,  baked, steamed in the oven, boiled or fried. But there is some history to it too.

I've had ravioli filled with butternut squash and a white sauce, it was delicious!!  I can't wait to get home and try THIS Taste of Home Pumpkin Lasagna recipe and see if it's similar.  I love the fact that I have another way to use pumpkin, besides bread, pie and bars!
