After seeing firsthand the flood damage in the Northland, and after FEMA visited our area as well, Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton has has sent his recommendation for federal disaster relief to President Obama today. Our media partners at the Northland's News Center reports that the Governor will be calling a special session of the legislature.

The Unfair Campaign has already stirred up quite a controversy in the Twin Ports earlier this year when the billboards started showing up around town.  Now videos are getting the attention and some people say the message is causing more of a split between people in the community.  Either way it's safe to say that it is getting people talking on a sensitive topic.

Yesterday, after 2 years of neighbors hating neighbors, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker beat out Tom Barrett.  And when I say neighbors hating neighbors, there actually was quite a bit of that going on.

In some cases people would like to vote, but are unaware of where to go.  Also some voters apparently get confused enough that there needs to be a sample ballot.  There is a very useful website that can help people find their nearest location and view a sample ballot for whichever election may be coming up in Wisconsin.
