Nopeming Sanatorium has long held a place in the curiosity of many in the Duluth area. The building, which was built in 1912 as a tuberculosis care center, has succumb to age, Mother Nature, and vandals sneaking onto the property.
Because my husband is involved with the Swain Cross Country Meet, I only get to Bayfield's Apple Festival every three years. This year we camped in the quaint town of Ashland, WI and day tripped through the colorful autumn foliage to Bayfield. The photo opportunities were abundant and I wanted to share them with you.
The month of October is a good one: Not only do pumpkins, mums and candy corn come into season, but the 10th month of the year is also the month in which many country artists celebrate their birthdays.
Drug research is a tricky thing. See, you can have a concept of what a drug will do, but it takes a lot of money to develop it and try it out. That's the hang up now for a drug called "DRACO."
