New Website Celebrates The Past By Taking A Picture Of It In The Present.
How many times have you gone through the old photos wondering if that old house still stands, or been somewhere you took a great picture of yourself? Dear Photograph celebrates the past by having people take a picture of their picture in the original location, in the present. Then write a little caption for the photograph.
On the website, there are pictures of people on the street, in their old home, beaches....with a brief story. If a picture is worth a thousand words, this website will be popular soon, see an example of how the pictures work after the jump.

A woman who works at one of the chain’s restaurants in Owensboro, Kentucky recently discovered a long lost photo of her great-great-great grandmother on the wall of the eatery, according to a report from area radio station WBKR.

A Moose Lake Elementary student, Megan Wegge was diagnosed with a form of liver cancer and is currently receiving chemotherapy that will continue through the summer. A fundraiser was held over the week-end in Sturgeon Lake and the Northern Lights Foundation presented the family with a $2000 check.
