Video Reveals Life Story Of Childhood Friend

When I was a little boy many years ago, I met my first best friend. Robert O'Sullivan was a dark haired skinny kid, I was a chunky blondish kid. I don't know what got us together, I think it was music, or maybe because he lived near me. We had sleep overs like every other little kid and no worries in the world.

Cathy Kates’ Dog Bauer Reminds You To Vote For Duluth In Flannel City Face-Off [VIDEO]

For a Northland girl, flannel is truely a wardrobe staple.  It's not only fashionable, but will keep you cozy in the chilly Twin Ports autumn weather.  What's not to like?  Those comfy flannel shirts come in an array of colors and go great with jeans and a pair of knee-high boots.  I'm not jumping on the flannel bandwagon either, my dog even had his own flannel jacket long before the quest to be the most flannel city!

It’s National School Lunch Week, A Perfect Time to Reflect on the Best Thing They Served When I Was In School

This week is National School Lunch week, a time I always reflect on growing up and eating hot lunch at school.  I still remember having my lunch ticket in hand as I waited in line joking around with friends as we got step by step closer to seeing what was being served that day by the nice lady with the fishnet on her head.

School lunch back then was okay overall, but there was one thing they served that was hands down my favorite.

This is a true story, literally! I got onto the computer late last night, because my boys wanted to look up some video game. Watching the Vikings at TCF Bank Stadium is Better Than the Metrodome [VIDEO]

I recently got to see the Minnesota Vikings in their temporary home as they battled the Atlanta Falcons in Teddy Bridgewater's first start.  My friend Curt is from Atlanta so it was the perfect game to go to.

I was never a fan of the Metrodome at all, and I'm very excited about the new stadium, but I wasn't sure what watching the Vikings play at TCF Bank Stadium would be like.  I'm here to tell you that it's much better than I expected.

Remember these cute little bugs?  The Cootie Bug game was one of my favorites as a child, along with Parcheesi, Yahtzee and Life! (not a fan of Monopoly due to my crappy math ability, although it did teach me to make change).   But, everybody had their favorites.  "Toys" is a national traveling exhibit of toys making stop at the MN History Center and breaking attendance records.  They will take you back to your childhood and is something you're entire family will enjoy!
