After 65 million years, the dinosaurs are coming back and they'll be in Duluth!  Seriously, this is a fun, interactive, hands-on exhibit that will provide hours of fun and learning this weekend.  I'm a fan of the Bejeweled game and found this fun Dino Drop game (like Bejeweled for kids) to get you in the mood to explore prehistoric times this weekend!

Grandma's Marathon is grateful for their numerous volunteers that put in countless hours before, during and after the race.  For years, they have recognized, a public employee or elected official that is worthy of  receiving the prestigious Rudy Perpich Public Service Award.  Who will you nominate this year??

I want to see this movie!  What an inspiration and interesting life this man has lead.  I saw the official movie trailer during the broadcast of the Olympics and was intrigued that it is directed by Angelina Jolie.  It's part of history and a must-see!  What the trailer and you'll be waiting for it's release like I am.

Yes, there is a National Day for a lot of things, so why should pie be left out?!?!  My favorite is pecan with whipped cream or french silk.  My hubby and daughter are pumpkin fans.  Today is a day to celebrate and indulge in YOUR favorite.  It would make the American Pie Council very happy!

We have been Minnesota Viking's Season Ticket holders for 26 years.  Yes, they've had their ups and downs, but we were always excited to sit front row in an end zone at an NFL game.  Many friends and family members used our tickets when we couldn't go, so why not buy the chairs that we called "ours" for so many years.

Candy canes, what do you know about them?  The most popular flavor is peppermint, they're red and white striped and usually only available around Christmas.  Some people eat them, others use them for decoration and crafts.  But, times have changed, flavors have changed and believe it or not, the shape has changed from when they were first introduced as a peppermint stick.

You will soon find new additions to the Lakewalk in Duluth.  The Friends of the Lakewalk, in partnership with the City of Duluth,will start by installing three new information kiosks, with more to come.  You don't have to be a tourist to appreciate information about things we have come to take for granted in our city.
