Kylee Kate’s Tribute Poem to 9-11

My daughter was only in 2nd grade on that fateful day.  I, and other parents struggled with how to explain the horrific pictures and videos to our children.  Years later, at age 17, I realized just how much she understood.  Here is the poem she wrote for a school assignment.  She read it on air Friday morning and I received several email requests for it.

Country Music Hall of Fame Plans August Events Around Chet Atkins, Connie Smith
