This may sound crazy, but hear me out.  Bee stings are definitely something that happens while riding a motorcycle.  I've known several people that this has happened too, and yesterday it happened to me.  See, what happens is you're riding along down the road and you run into a bee, or a wasp...  It may get caught in your shirt, jacket, pants leg, or even your helmet.  Then, it gets nasty.

MN Cigarette Tax Will Increase $1.60 Per Pack July 1st [VIDEO]

The Minnesota Legislature has just passed a bill to help correct the state's huge deficit.  The bill includes a $2.83 per pack tax on cigarettes, along with a one time floor stock tax on cigarettes.  This is an increase of $1.60 per pack of smokes.

Duluth Woman Training For Half Marathon Has Baby Minutes After Being Told She’s Pregnant

Trish Staine, 33, of Duluth got the biggest surprise early this week. Having not gained any weight and her cycle never changed, she knew she was uncomfortable and having back pain. Northland Experiencing Higher Than Average Pollen Counts

Pollen counts in the Twin Ports reached 7.5 / 10 on the scale on Sunday and Monday this week.  This is classified as medium-high pollen amounts.  At work today, many people were having problems with their allergies and everyone shared stories about seeing pollen floating around in the air over the weekend.

Study of Chemicals in Minnesota Lakes Finds Cocaine in a Third of Lakes Sampled

A study has been done on 50 lakes across Minnesota looking for chemicals that find their way into the lakes.  The most common chemical was DEET (used in bug spray).  Followed by a plastics chemical, and then surprisingly cocaine showed up.  Sometimes the cocaine was even found in remote lakes not near a sewer run off.
