October 15, 2012 Several individuals in our area, who have made a significant contribution to the arts and culture of the region, will be honored by the Depot Foundation at the Thirteenth Annual Arts and Culture Awards ceremony. It will be held in conjunction with the Circle of Friends Celebration on Thursday October 18.
October 12, 2012 Absolutely gorgeous! Not only Enger Tower, which has been "pinked" for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but also the new BIGGER gazebo. The cool thing about the smaller gazebo is that my daughter had her grad pics taken there, just before they built this one. They're going to officially open the gazebo today with a ribbon cutting and you're invited!

Every year a FREE buffet is offered by Community Volunteers with assistance from staff at the College of St. Scholastica. Approximately 5,000 area persons in need are served a delicious turkey dinner with all the fixings. The buffet is made possible with the help of community volunteers like you. Are you able to share a few hours on Thanksgiving Day?
October 2, 2012 You will soon find a new exhibit at the Main Library in Duluth that young will enjoy and will allow the not-so-young to return to their childhood. The Duluth Public Library, along with the Duluth Children’s Museum, is excited to announce Storyland: A Trip Through Childhood Favorites. (Volunteers are needed to help with the exhibit, see below).
