April 30, 2012 Duluth Police have identified the victim of Friday’s homicide as 28 year old Joshua Eric Defoe of Duluth. On Friday, April 27th, 2012 at 8:22AM Duluth Police were called to an apartment in the 100 block of East First Street.
April 28, 2012 It is the first homicide in Duluth since 2010.

Usually, the biggest safety concern is being hit by a passing vehicle, or being cut or poked by a piece of glass or metal. April 11, 2012 George Zimmerman is behind bars for the death of Trayvon Martin and he may very well be there for the rest of his life if he is indeed found guilty of this crime. This is such a high profile case, I can't imagine a location where jurors won't have awareness and opinions going in. I have a feeling this will be going on for some time. At the very least I think it will be good for that community to hear all the evidence.

April 10, 2012 There has been some discussions lately as to whether or not a second methadone clinic treatment center should be opened in the Duluth area. It seems to be a good idea to help addicts get the help that they need from the medicine, as sending people to prison doesn't cure addiction

April 5, 2012 I USE to know lots of people that never locked their door. Never! Day, night, home, not home, didn't matter. But, that trust we once had has been shattered by a crime that didn't even exist when I was young. Home Invasions. They happen way too often and this time, it was keys taken to their automobile. Please, please, use this as a reminder to lock your doors, always. It will help to keep you and your family safe.

The e-mail is well crafted, and says, "You're $900 bill is ready for payment."
