I am NOT a good scary movie watcher.  I get nervous and starting asking too many questions.  Can't watch em' alone and if you're with me, expect me to be clingy and loud. But, I am in the minority, most people I talk to L O V E to be scared.  You can experience a free Halloween thriller compliments of the Duluth Public Library.

You have to appreciate the 1968 Night of the Living Dead, their budget for the film was only $114,000.  That's why the movie is in black and white and not color, it was cheaper.  I think it adds another element of scariness to the movie.

Did I peak your interest?  Watch the original 1968 version of "Night of the Living Dead" in its entirety on Thursday, October 31 at 6:30 pm in the Green Room (520 W. Superior St.).  People are welcome to attend in costume. Note:  the movie is not rated.

PLOT:  A group of people are trapped in a rural farmhouse that is under attack by "living dead" monsters.
