The Oklahoma Hall of Fame has announced its Class of 2017, and one of those soon-to-be-inducted members is none other than Carrie Underwood! The seven-time Grammy Awards winner will be honored, along with her fellow 2017 inductees, during an event in November.

In addition to Underwood, Toby Keith, Reba McEntire, Blake Shelton and Vince Gill, among others, have spots in the Oklahoma Hall of Fame. The country star's fellow Class of 2017 members are Justice Tom Colbert, Congressman Tom Cole, Bob Funk, Shannon Miller, Phil Parduhn and Hal Smith, as well as posthumous inductees Ada Lois Sipuel Fisher and Sequoyah.

“I’ve always been proud to say I’m from Oklahoma. The people, culture and environment molded me into the person I am today,” Underwood, a Checotah native, says in a press release. “It’s such an honor to be recognized among such great company by the Oklahoma Hall of Fame!”

Underwood and her fellow 2017 Oklahoma Hall of Fame inductees will officially be added to the Hall of Fame at a Nov. 16 ceremony at the Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City; Gill and Kristin Chenoweth (another Oklahoma Hall of Fame inductee) will emcee the event. The honorees will also be recognized with a portrait unveiling and an interactive biographical exhibit in November at the home of the Oklahoma Hall of Fame, the Gaylord-Pickens Museum.

Although not currently on tour, Underwood has been keeping busy. She recently made surprise appearances at Nashville shows by her friends Luke Bryan and New Kids on the Block -- and has been cheering on her husband, Nashville Predators captain Mike Fisher, during the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
