We can't blame Carrie Underwood for being on hiatus recently — after all, she did just have a baby. But as CMA Music Fest and her return to the stage draw closer and closer, the 32-year-old has a lot on her plate.

In addition to learning to be a mom, Underwood has also been working on new music, as well as her fashionable workout line, Calia by Carrie. The singer admits that staying in shape has proven more challenging since having Isaiah.

“Having a baby definitely changes your routine, and I have to work around his schedule,” Underwood tells People. “Whenever he goes to sleep, I do the things I need to do for myself and make workouts happen when they can.”

It's been a while since any of us have seen the "Little Toy Guns" singer perform, but that doesn't mean she forgot about country music. Underwood recently tweeted that she has been working on new material, and she even got her little guy's approval.

“I really haven’t taken that much time ‘off’ because there are always things to do,” Underwood adds. “It’s been really nice to be able to focus my attention on Isaiah and our family. It’s been really good! But it’s been really nice as well to be creative, working on music, working on Calia."

Of course, it hasn't been all work and no play for this country music superstar — she recently took in a New Kids on the Block concert! Underwood will make her official comeback to the stage next week when she performs at the Grand Ole Opry on June 9, followed by performances on June 10 at the 2015 CMT Awards and June 13 at CMA Music Festival.
