We camped over Mother's Day weekend.  It was cold and VERY windy, so we didn't get a chance to build a fire, but our next time out, you can bet we're going to build our campfire and make campfire cones.  This is guaranteed to "spark"  family memories to talk about around the Thanksgiving table for years to come.

Basic ingredients you'll need
  •  sugar cones (sugar cones to simulate graham crackers, plain cones don't cut it)
  •  mini marshmallows
  •  chocolate chips
Yummy extras:
  •  peanut butter
  •  chopped bananas
  •  chopped strawberries
  •  sprinkles
  •  M&M's
  •  anything else your family digs (fruits, candy pieces, etc.)
Other supplies:
  •  aluminum foil
  •  a campfire or grill
Easy directions:

Spread the peanut butter on the inside of your cone, then fill it with the chocolate chips, mini marshmallows and banana slices. Wrap the whole cone in aluminum foil and put on the hot grill. Grill for about 5-10 minutes, turning occasionally.

Remove the hot cone from the fire and carefully remove the hot  tin-foil covering. Add your yummy extras (if you want) and ENJOY the ooey, gooey deliciousness!!! (have lots of napkins handy!!!)
