Burger King’s Italian Chicken Sandwich Review

I recently tried the BK Italian Chicken Sandwich out after seeing it featured on their drive thru menu. I like to try new things, and it looked appetizing. It was crispy chicken, on a hoagie style bun, with melted mozzarella cheese, topped with marinara sauce. This could be good! So I dug in and used my scoring system to see how it turned out.
Presentation: 2 I was disappointed when I opened the wrapper. It doesn’t look all that good. As my co-host Cathy said, “Is that toilet paper or cheese?” The fried chicken also had a darker than normal color. I think they needed to change out the fryer grease.
Taste: 3 Not bad, but not delicious. The breading on the chicken was kind of soft, and the cheese was a little rubbery, but you can tell that just by looking at it.
Quantity: 3 If it had tasted better and looked better, I may have wanted more. But in this case, the medium size sandwich was enough.
Price: 2 It was around $7 for the medium size value meal. I won’t pay that much again.
Total: 10 (Poor) I’m a big fan of Burger King, but not this sandwich. Next time I may just stick to the Whopper.
