Breakfast Club Live Blog March 18th, Storm Expected to Bring 6-11″ for Twin Ports

Here we are in mid March, expecting another winter storm.  Snow is starting to fall right now, and could be heavy during today.  The National Weather service forecasts 3-7" of snowfall today for the Twin Ports, higher amounts are possible along the North and South Shores.  We then are expected get a few more inches overnight.

B105 THINGS

LA experienced a 4.4 magnitude earthquake yesterday.  The epicenter was about six miles northwest of Beveryl Hills.  It's the biggest quake in 20 years for LA.

A new study is out saying the noise our appliances in our home could be causing us heart attacks due to stress.  Wow, if that was the only thing that stressed me out, I think I'd be just fine.

There is rumors that the NFL may be expanding playoffs to 14 teams in 2015!

Mystery continues with the Malaysia flight 370.  Now experts are saying that the flight path changed was programmed into the computer, and they are looking further into the cockpit crew.  The computer would have to have been programmed by someone in the cockpit.   Also aviation experts say that it is highly unlikely that the plane could have landed somewhere undetected.

Darius Rucker is set to host his fifth annual "Darius and Friends" benefit concert in Nashville on June 2 at Wildhorse Saloon.  Proceeds benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Jon Pardi's single "Up All Night" has been certified gold.

Today anchor Savannah Guthrie was married over the weekend to fiancee Mike Feldman.  She also had an even bigger announcement:  She's 4 months pregnant!

Sad news as Mick Jagger's longtime girlfriend L'Wren Scott committed suicide yesterday morning.  The fashion designer was found hanging by a scar in her apartment.

Blake Shelton, The Band Perry, and Miranda Lambert will all appear on The Voice tonight.  Our own Kat Perkins won her battle round!
