Welcome to the Breakfast Club today!   I'm back from being sick.  (Oof, bad stuff going around.) And Cathy's back from ice skating.   I guess the Olympics inspired her.  After 10 minutes her ankles were sore and she quit for the day.   That's probably better than I would do.

Teens are getting head lice from selfies.  The act of posing and leaning together with their heads are causing lice to spread.  Icky!

Hampton Creek Foods is working on developing an entirely plant-based egg.  No yolk!  (no joke!?)

American Idol is losing money.  Due to the large salary for the judges, and a new $7 million set, American Idol is actually in the hole.  However, it's not expected to be cancelled because there are too many holes in Fox's programming schedule to fill.

Sad news broke yesterday that Comedian/Writer/Director Harold Ramis passed away yesterday.  David Drew had an excellent story on him yesterday that I urge you to read.

Charlie Sheen is upset that people are still referring to his fiancee as a porn star, saying she doesn't do that anymore.  He mentions that she just finished up nursing school.  (Ex Porn Star now nurse?  Lucky Guy.)

 Gearing Up For Grandma's
