Breakfast Club Live Blog February 12th, Catastrophic Winter Storm Hits South

Good morning!  Well weather in our local area isn't so bad, with a light dusting of snow overnight.  However, in the southern US there is a huge winter storm that is being called "catastrophic" by weather experts.  Several inches of snow and over an inch of ice accumulation is expected across the South.

President Obama declared an emergency in Georgia and ordered federal agencies to help with state and local response.  There have already been deaths in Texas where the storm hit first due to icy roads.

Northeast Missippi expected to get as much as 4 inches of snow, and South Carolina could get 3/4 inch of ice and up to 8 inches of snow!

Obviously the people in the south don't have the driving skills or equipment to handle this kind of storm, so keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

The President and First Lady hosted a state dinner in honor of French President Francois Hollande.  They served "the best of American Cuisine"  Including caviar, winter garden salad, dry-aged rib eye beef, and hawaiian choclate-malted ganache.   Then Mary J. Blige performed for the 300 plus guests following dinner.

If you're planning to propose to your girlfriend, but need to hide the ring, there's a new product out there.   It's called I-Do-Derant.  It's deodorant you can hide an engagement ring in.

A man in West Bengal, India is thought to be a god because he has long butt hair.  It's about 14 inches long and some of the local people believe that it is a sign of his supernatural status.  Strangers travel for miles to see him, but his wife isn't impressed.

Cathy played against Ben today, and the question was:  How many Amendments are there to the US Constitution?

Cathy orginally answered 32, then changed her answer to 320.  Ben got it right with 27!

Entertainment Update

ACM awards have announced that Brett Eldredge, Kip Moore, and Justin Moore have been nominated for New Artist of the year!  Good luck, gentlemen.

Scotty McCreery recently in an interview said that non of his professors give him any special treatment for his studies at North Carolina State University.  He juggles a full time college career along with his music career.

Brantley Gilbert debuted his new puppy named Sylo on his facebook page.

Just days after leaving rehab, Dennis Rodman was spotted at a club drinking shots.  Do you think he took rehab seriously?
