Good morning, and welcome to the Breakfast Club!  Thanks for listening.  Weather today calls for some snow.  Roads are a bit slick too, so take your time.  In the news today, due to the recent damage to coast guard ice cutter vessels, and the large ice amounts in the St. Louis Bay, there's a repair submarine in the Twin Ports for the first time.

If you've got a sharp eye, you may be able to see it's mast periodically in the shipping lanes this morning.  Our mid day guy Chris Allen is actually broadcasting live from the submarine, as part of a Navy publicity event.

New cars will be required to have backup cameras by May 2018.  According to a federal study, there are nearly 210 backover death each year.  Many are children being backed over by their parents.  Feds hope this will save 59-69 lives each year.
