Super Bowl Opening Night at Xcel Energy Center gave fans and the media their first look at the teams and coaches set to play in the big game on Sunday. The event, which is geared toward media members, also served a crowd of fans in the stands who were able to listen in from the stands via radio devices.

Tom Brady spent several minutes addressing questions about his ties to Minnesota. Brady explained (as seen in the video above) how he spent time with his mother’s family fishing and hunting in Minnesota. Brady also got roped into a photo op courtesy of comedian JB Smoove that got the media chuckling.

Coach Bill Belichick, who seemingly always has a scowl on his face, cracked a smile and even laughed over a cheesy joke from one media member. While shuffling with other members of the media for positioning, I missed the moment on video, but I did capture his smile post-joke. What was the joke? ““What did the football coach say to the pay phone? I want my quarter back.” See video here.

Guillermo from Jimmy Kimmel Live also made a humorous appearance, putting Eagles tight end Zach Ertz on the spot. Check out the highlights in the video above and the photo gallery below!
