According to their website Bentleyville is America's largest FREE walk through lighting display.  How awesome that something SO cool is right here in the Northland.  It all started with Nathan Bentley in 2001.  The phenomenon has since moved to Bayfront Park and exists with the help of several community volunteers.

Bentleyville is now calling on friends who are willing to lend a hand with set up for the season. This is a major event in our area and the Downtown Waterfront District that brings in lots of out of town visitors that stay in our hotels, shop in our stores and eat in our restaurants while enjoying a memorable experience.

Set-up started this past weekend and they plan to be working at the site on Saturdays and Sundays for the next several weeks.  What will you be doing?  Well, you don't need any special skills to be a Bentleyville volunteer.  You might be asked to help set up the tunnels, string holiday lights or maybe paint if that's something you like to do.  According to WDIO.com, founder Nathan Bentley said there will be more lights used this year, so our holiday will be even brighter!  They are hoping to eventually transition to all LED lighting, plus you'll see new displays this year too!
