Be Wary Of Police Impersonators In The Northland [VIDEO]

A police impersonator struck on this route – NorthlandsNewsCenter.com

If you see flashing lights behind you, the natural reaction is to pull over.  However, there is a report of police impersonators using dash mounted lights to pull over women at night.

The Northland’s NewsCenter is reporting that one such incident occurred in the Northland recently.  Keep in mind that if you only see dash mounted lights that it’s most likely not a police officer.  Furthermore, if a car is trying to pull you over and you are suspicious, keep driving until you get to a convenience store parking lot or other populated location.  A real law enforcement officer will follow you there and understand why you didn’t pull over promptly.
