Be Part of History in the Making, Assist in Providing a Safe Walking Path at the Newly Constructed Lincoln Park Middle School

The trail that needs to be constructed this Saturday will be a gravel walking path from the new Lincoln Park Middle School to Devonshire Street. It is designed to give those students who walk to school, a quick easy route to the lower streets and Grand Avenue. Can you help? Volunteers are needed on Saturday, November 17, 9a – 12p to clear brush, build a small retaining wall and move gravel onto the pathway.
This is an all ages, no experience necessary event. Individuals, families and community groups are encouraged to participate. Volunteers are asked to dress for the weather. All equipment will be provided. Of course, those under 18 will need a guardian’s permission.
Please see the map above for the volunteer meeting location, the junction of the 3200 West block o fDevonshire and Atlantic Avenue. Call 218.730.4334 if you have questions and to register prior to the event.
