Bayfield’s Festival of Arts and Gallery Tour is This Weekend

A road trip to Bayfield, Wisconsin is always a beautiful drive and this weekend there's a perfect reason to make the trip to the south shore of Lake Superior.

The 54th annual Bayfield Festival of Arts and Gallery Tour, the region's largest and longest-running art festival, is this Saturday, July 16 and Sunday, July 17.  It will feature arts and crafts booths of 60 artists in downtown Memorial Park, along with open houses at 16 local art galleries and working studios.

According to the Bayfield Chamber, visitors can anticipate a unique selection of pottery, painting, jewelry, sculpture, glass works, wood carvings, photography and more. Five artists will be awarded "Best in Show" ribbons on Saturday, with the results posted at the Memorial Park gazebo on Sunday. They are judged based on creativity, craftsmanship and display.
