Keith Urban was in Duluth Sunday night and the Northland is still buzzing about it!  We knew it would be huge, so we were happy to secure a suite and give away even more tickets to our awesome listeners.  Missy Luukkonen, the biggest Keith Urban fan we've met, was there and sent us her thoughts on the show.

Here were Missy's top 5 moments as e-mailed to us:

  1. Since I won the meet and greet package I have to tell you just how amazing that was. First of all Keith smells as good as he looks and gives the best hugs! We were able to have a conversation with him backstage for the meet and greet, he is genuine and kind and all around a great guy! Then he came out to this small room and sang "Wasted Time" just him and his guitar. After the song he did a Q & A. The entire experience was amazing, one I will never forget. Thank you B105!
  2. Once of my favorite things about the concert is his entrance and the anticipation leading up to him being on stage, its dark & the music is playing and you have no idea what to expect or where he will and the lights come on and he's there in the center with his guitar doing what he does best! I love that he opens with "Gone Tomorrow, Here Today".
  3. I don't know any other performer that does what Keith does for his fans. Who else has a stage in the back so that everyone gets a chance to see him up close? Not only that but he walks through the crowd to get there, stopping along the way to give high fives and hugs! I also loved that we went into the crowd to take photos with a lady in her friends because he couldn't see her sign from where he was, so he went to her. After the show was done he stayed on stage to sign autographs for people and give more hugs. He genuinely cares about his fans and is clearly grateful that we all come out to his shows. He really gives the fans what they want.
  4. "Boy Gets A Truck" is my favorite song he has ever recorded, It has a lot of meaning to me personally. He said that he just added this to his set list last week and I was so excited to hear it live. His extra long guitar riff at the end was an added bonus!
  5. His guitar playing is nothing short of spectacular, you never know what he's going to do or what twist he will take on a song in the middle and especially at the end. You also knew know which one he will be playing, I think we saw well over 10 different guitars throughout the performance! He clearly loves what he does and he puts on the best show I have ever seen. This was my 17th Keith Urban concert and every single once is as amazing as the last. He just keeps getting better and better.
