I have been working in the broadcasting industry in Northland radio for 16 years. My life has been an "open-book", sharing trials, tribulations and every day life experiences, because YOU are my friends. I have compassion for people and animals. That has lead me to be involved with many different non-profit agencies on a local and national level. I am a board member for the Northern Light's Foundation, an organization that grants money to families with children who have cancer or a catastrophic disease. For the past 13 years I have been on the Thanksgiving Day Buffet Committee, responsible for feeding over 3,000 needy families in the Northland, a full Thanksgiving meal at the local Convention Center. I don't limit my involvement to large non-profit organizations, I also attend the home-town meatball and spaghetti dinners and benefits. That's where my connection grows stronger with you on a face-to-face level, and we become family.
