Cathy Kates

Hi y'all, thanks for checking out my bio! I grew up in the country community of Wrenshall, attended church in Carlton and worked in Cloquet. I adore and respect my family. My husband and I laugh and run together (well, I jog). My daughter is in her final year of college and keeps me young and our dog Bauer is an overactive Schnauzer. (he keeps me on my toes!) I love shoes, Asian food, and trying new recipes. My dream (at the moment) is to be on the Big Bang Theory or the Ellen Show. I have been in broadcasting for 18 years and thank you for your friendship and waking up to laugh with Ken, me and the Breakfast Club. ~Peace, Love & Hugs

UPDATE: 18 Year Old Charged After Vandalizing The Duluth Transportation Center

Originally, this blog was my reaction and disbelief to a news story I read from WDIO.com.   I had to ask the question, WHY?  Why did this man feel he had the right to destroy something that does not belong to him.   The fact that he has been caught, charged and bail set, doesn't answer my question of why, but at least justice is being served.

Duluth Residents Asked To Adopt-A-Hydrant; A Good Reminder For All Communites

Luckily, we haven't received a whole lot of snow, so it hasn't been an issue.  I doubt that we'll get lucky enough NOT to have a major snowfall soon and that's why this info is valuable to your and your family.  It will require help from you and your neighbors, but it's all in the name of safety.
