Chris Allen

I was born in Duluth, grew up here, and then moved away to Nashville. I have lived in many towns and states, so I don't have a real favorite sports team. I have many favorite sports teams. I have been working in radio since 1995. I held many odd jobs before I finally got in to radio. I also like to write, produce, and listen to music. I have had a number one song in 3 countries, just not America. I also enjoy movies, volleyball, and fashion (yes, fashion!). I have a younger brother and sister, and they live in Phoenix with my Mom and Dad. My sister has two kids, and my brother is married with dogs. Thank you for listening to me! Without you I wouldn't have a job. I enjoy the paranormal and can share many stories with you, but I would like to hear your story, so email me.

Chris Allen’s Tribute To Prince, What Artist Shaped Your Life

I am reminded of a Beatles line, I read the news today.....I could not believe my eyes. Now I know how my Aunt Lynn felt when she heard John Lennon died, Now I understand how my Aunt Pat felt when she heard Elvis passed. When certain artists die, you feel their death. Prince changed how I think about music and being a producer.

What Is Your Favorite Sports Movie, Depends On Who Is Watching

This blog all started from a discussion at Grizzley's in Canal Park. I was talking with a talble of nice ladies and they were discussing Bull Durham. Possibly one of the best sports movies ever made, they said. I asked them why. They liked Kevin Costner, they liked the romance between him and Susan Surandon. I told them, I think I saw a different movie than they did.
