I'm a sucker for themed runs and based on how many people I see participating in them, you probably are as well.  It's even better when they're for a great cause like the Jingle Bell Run in Duluth, which benefits the Arthritis Foundation.

The Jingle Bell Run in Duluth is scheduled for 8:00 a.m. on December 2 and registration is going on now.  This year’s Jingle Bell Run will feature a 5K, 1 Mile and Kids Fun Run, and a specialty hot chocolate bar to warm up.  Entry fees start at $20 for kids and $30 for adults.

Everyone is highly encouraged to wear their favorite holiday costumes or ugly Christmas sweaters and tie bells to their shoes creating a chorus of jingles as they run or walk through the course.  Grandma's Sports Garden, where pre and post race activities take place, will also be fully decorated for the holidays.

The best part is that all Jingle Bell Run proceeds will support the Arthritis Foundation’s mission to conquer and cure arthritis, which affects more than 54 million Americans of all ages.
