Earlier in the week I blogged about UW-Superior's 18th Annual Season Of Song Choral Concerts this Sunday, December 6 and Monday, December 7 at Cathedral of Christ the King in Superior.  On the Minnesota side, there will be holiday music Arrowhead Chorale style at UMD's Weber Music Hall.  It's yet another must-be-there holiday concert in the Northland!

Arrowhead Chorale is a non-profit, vocal ensemble made up of up to 28 experienced singers.  They are dedicated to perform a variety of genres of music, you may hear classical to jazz and bluegrass to musical theater and opera.

Their beautiful holiday collaboration will have you enjoying chamber instruments, dancers and UMD’s new digital organ.  The musical event will take place in UMD's Weber Music Hall.  Of course there will be festive songs to celebrate the season, but the highlight of the evening may be composer Lloyd Pfautsch’s A Day for Dancing—a nine-carol story as told to us in the Christmas lessons.

Take time out of your busy holiday schedule to relax and enjoy, take a deep breath, forget about "all you have to get done" and do something just for you.  To accommodate to your craziness there will be two performances.  Saturday, December 19 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, December 20 at 3:00 p.m. Tickets are $18 for adults, $6 for college students and free for those 18 and under.
