American Heart Association Northland Heart Walk is Saturday in Duluth

A major source of funding for the American Heart Association is this Saturday, September 24 in Duluth. The 20th Annual Northland Heartwalk will take place on the Lakewalk, starting at the Endion station.

There is no entry fee to walk, but all walkers are encouraged to raise money or donate to the American Heart Association. Walkers are eligible for a Heart Walk t-shirt once they have raised a minimum of $100.

Here is the schedule of events:

8:00am - Walk up, Family fun activities, Sponsor Booths with educational health pieces
8:45am - Lifestyle Change Award Recipient announced, stretching for participants
9:00am - 1 mile and 3 mile walk begins
10:00am - Wrap up
