Another honor for Vikings running back Adrian Peterson, and he still says he's not quite 100% recovered from his knee surgery.

The Minnesota Vikings announced that Peterson has been named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week for his Week 7 performance against the Arizona Cardinals. Peterson rushed for a season-high 153 yards on 23 carries with 1 TD. With his 29th 100+ yard performance, he ties Robert Smith for most career 100+ yard rushing performances in Vikings history. The 6th year back is currently tied for the 3rd most rushing yards (652) in the NFL, 7 yards behind the League leader. He leads the NFL in yards from scrimmage with 787.

This is the sixth time he has been granted this honor in his career.  Thursday night the Vikings will host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, with kickoff scheduled around 7:30pm.  Remember to watch the game at Players Sports Bar on Grand Avenue in Duluth, the official Vikings tailgate party!
