The whole move started when the Minnesota Vikings declined an option for 2017 on Adrian Peterson. That led to Peterson becoming a free agent. So far, Adrian has met with Oakland and Seattle. Kansas City hasn't signed their running back Jamal Charles, and now the Oakland Raiders have lost their running back. Minnesota announced they have signed former Raider Latavius Murray.

So here's what could happen, Adrian could sign with Oakland, he could sign with Kansas City (if they don't resign Jamal Charles), he could become a Green Bay Packer because they are minus Eddie Lacy, who is now a Seahawk. I think Adrian is pricing himself out of a job. I think he still wants premiere money when really he is damaged goods. He has only played 1 of the last 3 years. He has reached the age that most running backs start their decline. Adrian is a little different, his workouts are legendary, but is that good enough to land him on a team that will win him the elusive Super Bowl?

Now that Minnesota signs Latavius Murray he joins their stable of running backs that include Jerick McKinnon, C.J. Ham and Bishop Sankey and will most likely be the starter. I think the Vikings might have McKinnon or Ham do some kick returns now that Patterson left too.
