The Minnesota Department of Health has issued a no water contact advisory on a Duluth beach.

Our partners at KJBR-TV are reporting that the advisory is for Boy Scout Landing, located in New Duluth on Commonwealth Avenue

The health department advises people to stay out of the water due to elevated E-Coli bacteria levels from possible fecal contamination.

The beach was scheduled to be retested sometime Tuesday, but until further notice contact with the water there should be avoided.

If you do come into contact with that water and start to fill sick, contact the Minnesota Department of Health.
