Lee Greenwood's God Bless The USA song still makes the hair on my arms stand up and brings a tear to my eye.  This cheer routine is a heart warming tribute to 9/11.

Years ago, I was riding on the B105 float in the Superior Fourth of July parade blasting Lee Greenwood's "God Bless The USA" through the speakers and holding an American flag.  As we passed the Douglas County Courthouse a gentleman in uniform that had to be in his late 80's possibly 90 struggled to stand with his cane to salute the flag I was holding as the float passed.  Watching his commitment and dedication to continue honoring his country, coupled with the words of Lee Greenwood's song was all this girl could take.  I was so touched that I started to cry and couldn't get a hold of myself.  Whether it's the song or the routine that this team obviously worked so hard to learn, I found myself getting emotional one again.
