CrossFit Duluth is holding the 4th Annual Memorial Day Murph fitness event on May 20th.  This year the proceeds benefit the 23rd Veteran, a local non profit organization that helps veterans transition back into civilian life.  The Memorial Day Murph is a fitness challenge that is open to all people and ability levels.

The "Murph" is named after Navy Seal Lt. Michael Murphy who was killed in action in Afghanistan in 2005.  The hero workout consists of a 1 mile run, 100 pull ups, 200 push ups, 300 air squats, followed by another mile run.

If that sounds like too much, they also have a scaled back version and a team version that can split it up.

The cost is $35 dollars and that gets you registered with a free t-shirt.
