At 7:56am our time, the space shuttle Endeavour made its final lift off.  The shuttle was scheduled to lift off a couple of weeks ago, but was plagued with electrical problems.  As we know in the history of the shuttle program, this isn't uncommon.

Endevour is the youngest orbiter in the shuttle fleet.  It was built as a replacement for the Challenger, which tragically exploded during lift off in 1986.  Endevour has had a good track record in it's missions and has about 110 million miles under her wings.  That's a little more than your family car, right?
